Summer Fair September 22nd

Thank you to all the staff, children, governors, friends and families who supported the summer fair. You were all amazing and the children loved creating their own stalls – bath bombs and doggie treats galore! You raised around £530, WOW!!

Gooseberry Planet

Recently we have had the pleasure of Stella James coming into school to deliver an informative Gooseberry Planet workshop for parents and staff.

Gooseberry Planet has created gaming technology to help children learning about internet safety. In the course of a familiar game, children are exposed to online issues requiring a response such as meeting strangers, bullying, grooming and sexual exploitation. Children love playing games and Gooseberry Planet is a fun way to present internet safety situations to them.

Issues that Gooseberry Planet deals with:

  • Clickjacking
  • Sexual Exploitation & Grooming
  • Emailing & Live gaming
  • Web cams & live streaming
  • Social networking & Stranger Danger
  • Meeting up & Chat rooms
  • Online Bullying

You saved our Lollipop Lady!

Thank you to all the parents who supported our campaign to save Nora on the school crossing. We are pleased to tell you that on Monday 20th February Norfolk County Council shelved the plans to cut the crossing patrols, so for now we are able to keep ours! Hooray!
