Britannia Pier Show tickets

All of Year 2 and the dance club will be performing in a song and dance show (A Rainbow of Music) at the Britannia Pier on Friday 30th June at 6.30pm. Tickets priced £6 go on sale from the Britannia Pier box office this Friday – don’t miss out!

Holidays

May Half Term is coming up – Monday May 29th to Friday June 2nd when school will be claosed. Please remember that time off in term time is not authorised and could result in a fine of £60 per child per parent.

Road Safety Day Monday 8th May

The children will be learning about road safety next week across the school. Year 1 need some parent helpers if anyone is available – contact the school office.

You saved our Lollipop Lady!

Thank you to all the parents who supported our campaign to save Nora on the school crossing. We are pleased to tell you that on Monday 20th February Norfolk County Council shelved the plans to cut the crossing patrols, so for now we are able to keep ours! Hooray!

Opera Project Success

We bid for a place on the King’s Ransom Arts Council project for schools before Christmas. Four Norfolk schools were selected from the many bids and we can announce we were one of the lucky schools. We look forward to working with the company from next September.

Save Our Lollipop Lady

Norfolk County Council are looking to cut our crossing patrol. We have lobbied councillors but we need your help to support our campaign. We will have a petition on the playground this week please sign up to fight this cut!

Children In Need

We will be holding a non-uniform day on Friday (18th Nov) to support Children In Need. Bring a £1 to school and wear something spotty.

Remembrance

The school was visited by the Mayor last week to see us making poppies for the Remembrance Service on Saturday. Thank you to everyone who bought a poppy and well done to Siddhant & Angelica who represented the school on Saturday at the service.

EDP Poetry Winner

Well done to Aaliyah Ribbonaar who was runner up in a county wide poetry competition and received her award at the BBC Voices at the Forum. Aaliyah was also featured on Mustard TV.
