This week is the beginning of National Children’s Art Week so I thought it would be a good opportunity to look at a famous artist’s work and do some art of your own. As we are Tigers Class, I thought we would look at the work of Henri Rousseau whose most famous image is of a Tiger in a tropical storm.
Have a look at the image. Write about what you like and dislike about the image. Here is some information about Henri Rousseau:
Create a short fact file about him using the information. Remember to write it in your own words, do not just copy the information.
Create your own picture including a tiger. You could try to create one similar to Rousseau’s or something completely different! Think about the things you liked about Rousseau’s picture and try to include those things in yours. You can use whatever material you like to create your image. Have fun!
Today is also World Social Media day so I thought it would be a good opportunity to refresh your memory about E-safety, especially as we have probably all be using the internet more since we have had to stay inside. https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/ has some great games to play that help you learn E-safety skills, check it out!
Yesterday, you did some work about right angles. Today, I would like you to take a look at this BBC Bitesize lesson: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z2gcsk7 all about comparing angles. Again, it explains well the difference between different types of angles.
