Optional work for home

We have had a wonderful week this week, beginning our learning about inspirational black figures as part of Black History Month. We even had a zoom workshop with Anna Mudeka, a Zimbabwean musician living in Norfolk, who told us stories and other aspects of her heritage.

We also begun learning how to add fractions with different denominators. If you are looking for work to do at home alongside reading and spelling, practising this would be very beneficial for the children, as havingĀ  secure understanding of this before we develop it further will really help them. They have been using multiplication grids to help them, while they are still learning their times tables.

Here is an explanation of what we have learnt, and some possible questions you could do at home.
