Extra-Curricular Activities

We provide a wide range of after school activities for all ages and some visits out of school during the school day.  Some activities have to be restricted to particular year groups, in order to comply with health and safety regulations.

Activities (which change during the year depending on staff available) may include football, basketball, multi sports, gardening and chess.

Some out of school activities may have a small charge. Activities that occur within the school day may require voluntary contributions.  Funding may be available to support working families in receipt of benefits.

Breakfast Club

During term time we have a breakfast club that offers child care before school from 7.45 to 8.40am (children are taken to their classes by staff). All children are welcome to attend the Breakfast Club.

Children have a healthy breakfast, the opportunity to play with their friends, participate in creative activities, and have a story before starting the school day. Parents and teachers report that the breakfast club calms the children who attend and enables them to be ready to learn at the start of the day.

There is a charge of £2 per day. Funding may be available for working families in receipt of benefits. Please ask in the school office for further information.

Dragons (After school club)

During term time we have an after school club that offers child care from 2.45 to 4.55pm. All children are welcome to attend Dragons.

The children can take part in various activities, such as sports, crafts, play with friends etc. and will be given a snack (eg. sandwich, toastie, beans on toast, yoghurt, fruit).

There is a charge of £7 per day and working families in receipt of benefits may be able to apply for funding to meet this cost. Please ask in the school office for further information.
