Local Authority Audit December 2017
In December the Local Authority undertook an audit of teaching and learning within the school. The process was very helpful in supporting our self-evaluation process and recognized many strengths in the school including: the good relationships between children and staff, well behaved children who are polite and courteous, successful promotion of social and emotional development of our diverse community and that pupils feel well supported in their work. The areas for improvement are outlined in the School Improvement & Development Plan but include: improved use of the outdoor area for Reception and Nursery, increasing the pace of change to move outcomes towards National expectations and to ensure teaching standards are consistently high across the school. To see the action plan go to the School Improvement area of this website.
