Internet Safety Day is soon approaching, and it is crucial to emphasise the importance of awareness in keeping children and young people safe online. This year, it will be observed on Tuesday, 6th February. As educators, parents, and caregivers, we all have a role to play in promoting internet safety.

Norfolk Constabulary's Children and Young People Team would like to share a message for Safer Internet Day, 2024. They have produced a newsletter specifically designed to provide useful information to our partners, parents, and carers. It's essential that we all take the time to read and understand this valuable resource.

The rapid growth and ever-evolving nature of the internet make it essential for us to stay informed and educated about online safety. By doing so, we can protect our children from potential online dangers and ensure they have a positive and enriching online experience.

In the newsletter, Norfolk Constabulary’s Children and Young People Team address various topics related to online safety, including cyberbullying, social media privacy, and the responsible use of online platforms. It is a comprehensive resource that offers practical advice and guidelines for both parents and carers.

By working together, we can create a safer online environment for our children and foster digital citizenship skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
