Today, is the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. At a time when we are all thinking about the great work nurses are doing, I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn more about one of the most famous nurses in history. Watch this video to find out more about her: https://www.twinkl.co.uk/go/resource/meet-florence-nightingale-animation-tg-a-34-1. Make a poster showing what you have learnt about Florence Nightingale and why we should remember her.

It is important to keep practising all of our Maths skills. A skill we haven’t pracitised for some time is place value. Watch the video on this BBC Bitesize daily lesson and have a go at the activities: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zdgdwty.

I also thought it would be nice to do a bit of music. This daily lesson tells you about pulse and rhythm. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z6mmxyc. Have a go at creating your own music, have fun!
