I hope you had a lovely weekend and enjoyed seeing the sun shining, I certainly did!
Joke of the day: What is a witch’s favourite subject in school? Spelling!
Spellings: This week your spellings are words that have the added suffix -er
Spelling rule: We use the ending -er when two things are being compared. This is called the comparative.
Writing: Write each of the spellings in a sentence in your home learning book.
The weather turns colder in the winter months.
Answers to Friday’s quiz:
Maths: Can you answer these word problems in your home learning books? You will need to write the calculation too.
Example: If there were 5 petals on each flower, how many petals would there be on 3 flowers? 3 x 5 = 15
I would also like you to practise your multiplication and division facts. The more you practise, the better you will become! Write the questions and answers in your home learning book.
