Good morning Kangaroos, I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Joke of the day:  What does a snake learn in school? Hisss-tory!

Spelling: This weeks spellings are compound words. A compound word is made up of two words joined together.
For example super + man = superman
starfish
firefighter
blackberry
haircut
football
bedroom

Challenge: Can you make three compound words out of these words?
rain       after       end       week       noon       bow

Writing: Write each of the spellings in a sentence in your home learning book.

Example: haircut

I’m in desperate need of a haircut because my hair has grown wild!

Here is your next English lesson: https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/the-firework-makers-daughter-to-retrieve-information-3a40c4

Maths: I would like you to do pages A8 and C10.

For A8, look at the arrays and write the multiplication and division fact.
Example: xxxxx = 2 x 5, 5 x 2, 10 divided by 2 and 10 divided by 5.
xxxxx

For C10, you are colouring a fraction of the fruits.
Remember: 1/ 2 is like saying for every two fruits, you colour 1.

Be good!
