Yesterday, you wrote your own adventure story using what you had read as inspiration. All books need a front cover. Design a front cover for your story. Look at the cover of Swashbuckle Lil to see what you need to include. Also, the back of the book contains a blurb (a summary of what the story is about) write a blurb for your story.
Money is a key life skill. £1 = 1oop
Here are some different items you could buy in a shop: Fruit Prices for shop. If you had £5, work out what you could buy. Try to work out as many different combinations as possible. You do not have to spend the whole £5 but you can’t go over. If you don’t spend the whole £5, how much money would you have left over?
For example: I might buy the bananas 93p, the cherries £2.16, a peach 43p and some melon 92p. If I add these all together I have spent £4.44, I would have 56p left over.
There will be loads of different possibilities, have fun trying to find as many as you can!
Remember to continue to keep logging into EdShed regularly and check out the new assignments I have set today.
Also, check out BBC Bitesize for other activities. I have tried to choose some of the more interesting ones but there is lots of great activities on there to have a go at! https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zmyxxyc/year-3-and-p4-lessons/1
