I hope that you are all getting back into the swing of working at home again. Before the half term holiday I spoke to lots of Mummy’s and Daddy’s on the phone and they told me how well you were all doing. I just wanted to let you know again that I am very proud of all of you and really missing you.
I hope that you are starting to explore your new personalised home learning packs. There are lots of activities for you to do to help with reading, writing and maths. Remember that I would like you to spend up to 20 minutes each day on each area of learning.
A tip for carrying out your writing activities – make sure that you are sitting in a good position. If you can sit up at a table and make sure that you are tucked under. Hold your back straight rather than slouching over the table. At school we encourage you to sit with both of your feet touching the ground, not crossed. If you are working at a table where you can touch the floor you will be able to do this.
This week we have begun our work on animals. Today I have a game for you to play. You have to identify which animal lives in different places. There are some useful facts to find out about the animals too. You will need to go to address below:
