Hi Kangaroos

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! This weekend I have been learning the dance moves to supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from the film Mary Poppins. You can find the dance here: youtube.com/watchre if you would like to learn it too.

Joke of the day: Which bird is always out of breath? A puffin!

Spellings: This week your spellings are words that end in -ge.

The spelling rule: At the end of a word, the letter j is never used to spell the sound ‘j’. Instead, we use -dge or -ge. If the ‘j’ sound comes after a long vowel spell it with -ge.

Writing: Write each of them in a sentence in your home learning book.

Example: stage

The performer took to the stage for his last performance.

Maths: Can you write the sentences with the missing facts.

The vertices are the points where two or more edges meet.

The side are the lines that make up the shape.

I have also set a times table game on EdShed for you to complete.

Missing you all terribly!

Miss Gislam
