This week we have been learning how Doctors’ and Nurses look after us.
We have made a doctors’ bag and labelled pictures of items that might be found in them. We have made repeating patterns using pictures of medical equipment and have used 2d shapes to create ambulance pictures.
We have continued to work on addition and have learnt how we can use our fingers to help us solve addition number sentences with numbers 0-5; for example 3 + 2 =
This week we have had a change in our Read, Write, Inc groups – the children who have made the most progress are those children who are practicing their letter sounds and reading regularly at home.
Looking ahead to Monday 25th November we will be visiting Great Yarmouth Fire Station. We will need parents/carers to come with us. Can you help? Please let a member of the Reception team know if you can. (We will be leaving just after 9am and will be returning in time for lunch at 11.45am)
