The children have all really enjoyed learning about the rainforest this half term and finding out lots about the animals that live there. They have produced some fantastic pieces of writing too. Ask your child why we should protect the rainforest?
Extra maths sessions
All the children in Key Stage 2 have been working together on number bonds and times tables. It has been great to see the children from different year groups working together so well. Ask your child what they are learning this week and see if you can help them get quicker.
We hope you all had a lovely break and are ready to learn lots more interesting things.
Here is our newsletter for Spring term. Newsletter Spring
Please remember to encourage your child to read and to do the best they can for their homework.
This half term our topic is South America. We have so far learnt about where South America is and the countries in South America.
Please visit this helpful website. It is designed to help parents understand websites that children use and what the risks are, it also provides reviews and offers advice on parental controls. Help us to keep your children safe online at all times.

Today was History Day.
We went to the Time and Tide Museum for the morning and were allowed to handle lots of artefacts! We focused on fossils and we all touched a mammoth fossil as well as many others. We then drew the fossils and looked at other areas of the museum, looking for things that were artefacts and remains. We even saw an ancient Egyptian mummy hand!
