Hello everyone – It’s Friday!

On Monday we will return to Nursery so today will be the last day of zoom school.

Thank you to each and every one of you for your continued support over the past few weeks you have all helped to embed your child’s learning by joining zoom school and completing the work set on the website. We are really looking for to seeing all next week and hearing all about the fantastic learning you have been doing with your families and all the other lovely things you have been you have been you to.

Today we would like you to make a fruit salad with all your favourite fruits. Now, a member of Miss Thrower’s family likes to pour cream over their fruit salad – cheeky! I wonder what you ingredients you or your family members like to add to their fruit salad?…

Maths & Science

Yesterday we asked you to cut some of your chosen fruit in half and leave some of it whole. We then asked you to freeze it ready for today’s maths activity. Today we thought you can use the frozen and predict which pieces you think will float and which will sink. This is an interesting activity to carry out and see what happens when you turn your scientific heads on too. I wonder what might happen once the fruit begins to defrost (the ice melts). Does this change how the fruit behaves in the water?…..

For the rest of the day we would like you to spend as a family enjoying the few hours altogether before school life starts up again next week.

Play family board games, do some baking together, go for a walk, sing songs, tell stories and most importantly have fun together!

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

We look forward to seeing some of you on Monday at 8:45am and the rest of you Wednesday at 11:45am.
