Good morning Nursery 🙂 Start the morning by explaining to your grown up what you did yesterday – What did you enjoy? What did you do? What day was it yesterday? Today is Tuesday – That is your clue! Next, count all of your own fingers from 0-10 and then count your grown ups fingers 🙂
- The next activity is a pattern and sorting activity. Recap the shapes, then explain to your child that the patterns repeat – Show them the sequence and then encourage your child to try! This may be a little tricky, but it is a good skill to master! Click on the link and have a go online 🙂
2. The next activity is a drawing and music activity –
Listen and draw
Put on a jazz or classical station or fire up a playlist, then pull out drawing paper and crayons. Spend some time listening and drawing what you hear, using colors, shapes, lines, dots and crayon strokes to represent the instrumental sounds, themes, dynamics and musical moods you hear. As you draw, talk about why you’re choosing different colors to represent different sounds, like the color orange for a trumpet.
3. The next activity is slime making – This can be great for your child’s sensory exposure and vocabulary development – The process of making the slime will also encourage basic organisation and planning skills. Have fun 🙂
4. Here is another great story 🙂
