Hello Year 3,
I hope you are all well and staying safe at home.
I thought I would take this opportunity to remind you about the website logins you were all given (in the front of your yellow book) to use during this time; Espresso and EdShed. I noticed that some of you have used EdShed, well done if you have! 🙂
It is important to keep reading as much as possible – I myself have been sitting in my garden reading and have finished 3 books since we finished school. Try to read a little bit everyday. I like to read a chapter at a time but even a few pages is great!
It is also important to keep practising your maths, writing and spelling skills so please make sure you complete the activities I post here, and any extras you find on the websites. Make sure you test yourself on the spellings I give you each week.
This week’s spellings:
Common Exception Words:
Put each of the spelling words into sentences. Your challenge this week is to use inverted commas ” “.
Try to think of other words using this rule.
Complete one of the Maths times table colouring sheets. Identify which times tables you are weaker at and practise these. You could start by writing them out, remember to count in the multiples carefully. Then use EdShed to practise.
